Hands down, Argentina has been one of my favorite countries I have ever been to. For over two months, I explored the vastly different provinces with unique food, culture and landscapes which varied from one province to the next. If you haven’t been following my journey, I’ll catch you up. In October I landed in Buenos Aires and reconnected with family, some I’ve never met before and others I reunited with. From Buenos Aires we ventured to Rosario then off to the mountains of beautiful Cordoba. From Cordoba we excitedly traveled to Mendoza where fine Malbec wine is cultivated then on to Patagonia all the way down to hike Fitz Roy and see Glacier Perito Moreno, the gem of the world I would say. I look forward to returning, but until then I have my photos and videos to cherish along with my memories.

  1. Perito Moreno is definitely very impressive! I am hiking a glacier when I go later this month and I am guessing maybe it is Fitz Roy. I have never hiked the glaciers down there so I am looking forward to it!

    1. Hi Raul! Perito Moreno is very much impressive, I agree! I think you will be hiking on Perito Moreno actually (maybe) because it’s much more stable and larger. Fitz Roy’s glaciers are difficult to get to, but if that’s where you do end up hiking it will be fascinating. Enjoy you’re time there it was definitely among the highlights of my time in Argentina.

  2. Beautiful! So much of what we think about Argentina is Buenos Aires, yet there is a great deal more. Thanks for sharing your memories in video format.

    1. Thank you Betsy! That’s very true and in planning I wanted to spend more time in Buenos Aires (like a month) because I didn’t realize there was so much more to Argentina within the provinces between Mendoza and Buenos Aires.

  3. This is so awesome. We have thought about Argentina before but just as a passing thought when thinking about Brazil or Peru, but watching this we really need to have another look! So much to do and so diverse, most definitely Argentina will feature more heavily on our South American leg than before! Thanks!

    1. Thank you Roaming Renegades! Argentina is extremely diverse, more so than I realized before heading out there. Let me know if you end do going there I will LOVE to help you plan it. Brazil is amazing too btw!
