If you fly, you have airline miles. You might have earned them from flying with a major airline or partner airline, from using a travel rewards credit card or by buying the miles.

Frequent flyer miles are like money, you shouldn’t waste them, lose them or forget about them. But, keeping track of your airline miles can be confusing at times, especially if you have miles from several airlines. The whole point of earning miles is that instead of using actual cash to pay for a flight, you could use your miles and save your cash to pay for things on your trip. This is why it’s helpful to know how many and where you airline miles are.

I found that the best way to keep track of most of my airline miles is by using Award Wallet. Award Wallet is a free service that keeps track of your flight schedules, frequent flyer miles, any certificates you have, points from hotel loyalty programs and basically any other travel loyalty program you might be earning points from.

My favorite feature is that it will send me an email alert whenever any of my miles are soon to expire because of inactivity.

How to Sign Up for an Award Wallet Account

Signing up for Award Wallet is free, but there is also a premium version that you can upgrade to that’s usually not free.
