We all have our favorite hotel booking sites, and what makes for an even better hotel booking site is one that you can access from your phone. Most booking sites have caught on to the trend and have created phone apps, but not all are created the same. What I look for in a hotel booking app are whether I can book hotel stays at last minute discounts, whether there are perks that can earn me free stays and whether the selections are ones that I’m going to enjoy. Here are my top 5 favorite hotel booking apps that I personally use and recommend!
Hotel Quickly
Hotel Quickly is a last minute hotel booking app available for stays in all over Southeast Asia, New Zealand and Australia.
Why I like it: Through their referral program, you can earn points which are equal to dollars that you can cash in for stays. If you have enough points, you can redeem them for free nights or if you don’t then you just pay the difference. I used the Hotel Quickly app all over Asia including in Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand and it turned out to be a significant money saver.

Jetsetter is a booking app and website that brings you information about different boutique hotels and the area the hotel is in based on the editor’s experience. It’s like a hotel/travel blog and hotel booking site mixed into one app.

Last Minute Travel
Last Minute Travel is a booking app and like the name mentions, is a last minute booking app for not only hotels, but also short term vacation rentals.
Why I like it? The Deal’s Tonight tab on the Last Minute Travel app is sorted by major cities around the world accompanied by the lowest rate available for hotels in that city. If you don’t see the city you’re looking for, you can type it in the search bar and it will pull up last minute rates in that city. You can also search for up to a 7 night stay, but the results will only show starting from the current day or the next.

The Booking.com app is mirrored to it’s website and one of the most widely used hotel search apps in the world. You can use the app for essentially any region in the world for any budget.
